logo comparison

I find that the dark earth logo is meant to be like this because it looks as if it creates some sort of scary emotion because of the font style.  This logo also seems like it represents death just because to me DARK EARTH seems related to something dying because it is called DARK EARTH.  This logo is frightening because the font style is sharp, pointy and some letters look as if they were unnatural because of the spikes.  To me this also means death and destruction.



 This logo is cheerful because it has many colors and it is in a swirl. To me that means safety and that this logo represents happiness.  I think that this logo could improve by adding text to it because we don't know what this logo actually means.  I find that the logo is very high in contrast and that is is very bright.  This logo can be used to symbolize friendship where as the other logo represents death and destruction.

Colour is esential for art useually because you deal with colour more often than not.  Colour is the relflection of light from a surface.  A colour scheme is a plan for selecting or organizing colour (monchromatic, analogous, complementry, triad, spilt-complementry, warm, cool or neutral colours)

elements of design-Form

Forms are objects which have three-dimentions: width, length and dept.  A cube, a cone and a sphere are all examples of form.  Form can also be thought of in drawings and paintings because form is esential for the preportion of any object in the area.  Form is also important because it is good for claymation and other 3-D projects anyone may be working on.  Without form all of our images would be 2-D and then it would be harder to visualize any type of scene in your mind because we would think of it as two dimentional.

elements of design- shape

The element of shape is very important in design because it revolves around the way an object looks in reality.  A shape is something with a width and length and is tow-dimentional.  There are two types of shapes.  Geometric shapes which are derived from the constructed environment, squares, triangles and circles are all examples of geometric shpes.  There are also organic shapes which are derived from nature.  These shapes are useually composed with rounded edges.  An example of an organic shape is a circle because it is a round object but also this counts for three-dimentional objects as well in my opinion because most 3-D objects have smooth rounded edges.

I really enjoyed this stop motion video because it was funny, not to long, had neat special FX and the way they used t-shirts as the base for this video was really cool.  I believe that this vidoe though could be better if they had made it relate to peoples personal lives rather than what they did, but all in all this is a very good stop motion video

I find that this PSA or public service ad is very important because it shows the dangers of texting and driving.  This video is also helpful because there are easy ways to stop it by having your phone turned off or just not having one. I think that this PSA is a good example to try and make people think about texting and driving.  This PSA to me is super effective because it shows what will happen when you text and drive.

I think that the strengths of this video is the music and the open mouths of the characters because it really goes along with the music and it also creates suspense and fear.  I think that the weaknesses of this video is that the foot is moving and that before the music was put in there was other people talking in the background.  All I did was add the sound track then I shortened it and i also made sure that the music got suspenseful when I wanted it to.  I believe that the music made the fearful and suspenseful emotions in this video.  I also think that the camera angles are pretty good but, I think that they could be better because these angles are very simple.
